I’m Mihai Moraru. I live in Cluj-Napoca, the heart of Transylvania.

I come from Onești, a small town in Romania. My journey in programming and software development began at the age of 12 when I was playing GTA SA Multiplayer (SA:MP) on different servers. I was fascinated by the role-playing game mode and wanted to make some changes and add some extra features. This led me to write my first lines of code in Pawno (which is derived from C) and even create some servers for other people.

As I dove deeper into programming, I started to learn more languages such as C++, Java, and later JavaScript and React. I found that I had a real passion for coding and that it was something I wanted to pursue further.

At the age of 17, while I was in eleventh grade, I got hired as a Full-Stack Developer. I was working with Java & Spring on the backend, React on frontend and React-Native on mobile apps. This was a huge opportunity for me and I learned a lot during my time working there.

Now, I am a Senior Full-Stack Developer, working mainly with React and Node.js (or MERN stack). I have also ventured into freelancing and contracting business. I am excited to continue to learn and grow as a developer and to see where my journey in programming and software development takes me next.
